About the function

As a Maintenance Technician for our client, you play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and optimal performance of machines and installations. Without your efforts, malfunctions would go unresolved, potentially leading to delays and reduced production. You will carry out both preventive maintenance and repairs, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing preventive maintenance and (dis)assembling components.
- Conducting troubleshooting and repair work on machines and installations.
- Assisting with major repairs and expansion projects.
- Using workshop equipment to manufacture and refurbish parts.
- Recording data in the system, such as materials used and working hours.
- Adhering to safety regulations and internal procedures.

What we need

- MBO-level work and thinking ability, preferably in mechanical engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience as a maintenance technician, service technician, or mechanic in a production environment.
- Experience working with workshop equipment (such as welding machines, presses, and burners).
- Knowledge of technical installations, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Forklift or aerial work platform certification (a plus).
- Familiarity with safety regulations and internal procedures in an industrial environment.
