Field officer
OBJECTIVE
Acted field officer will be in charge of the identification and follow-up of our beneficiaries. Creating a strong relation with the Romanian web of humanitarian organization, he /she will assess the need, establish the priorities and implement ACTED response. He/she will lead the protection program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
At a minimum level the protection focal point is responsible for the following:
• Participate actively in transit camp and transit shelters coordination meetings, including liaising other INGO, NGO and partners but also local authority representatives and/or community structures. The role of the FO is to share updates and/or issues/improvements related to the overall protection situation among the refugees. This can be done but is not limited to raising shared concerns of all parties, addressing gaps identified in past meetings and identify opportunities for protection mainstreaming;
• Assist in raising an awareness on protection risks/violations in the refugee community;
• Help in the identification and referral of persons with special needs;
• Identify the protection gaps and address them in close coordination with leadership structure of ACTED or all relevant actors providing services to the Ukrainian refugees;
• Maintain an up-to-date contact list of most vulnerable refugees that could be eligible for help.
• Elaborate all needs-based inputs and all other activities according to the objectives of the programme and the beneficiary involvement strategy of ACTED.
• Organize and Participate in NFI distributions, voucher distribution
LINE OF COMMANDE:
the Field officer answer directly to the program manager (report and monitoring)
The field officer refers to the AREA COORDINATOR (strategy and gap analyse)
SKILLS:
Bachelor in social science
Good team work
Writing and communication skills
Excellent capacity to establish contact and network.
