Job Description
As a safety Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive safety measures within the Cernavoda TRF Construction project. Your primary duties will include:
- Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Managing and responding to incidents and emergencies promptly.
- Providing training programs for employees on safety protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into daily operations
- Continuously improving and updating safety management systems.
- Handling emergency situations including first aid

Desirable qualifications and experience
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- Romanian citizenship or permanent residence holder
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in construction or site management
- Specific safety and health coordinator training, updated every 3 years
- Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in conducting safety training and awareness programs
- Ability to analyze and address safety issues proactively
- Familiarity with safety management systems and tools
- Proficiency in English, Romanian, if applicable Korean
- IT skills

- Copies of relevant certifications and educational qualifications including degree certificate, the result of specific safety and health coordinator training by GD 300
- Interviewees must submit a criminal record certificate (separate notification)

Further Information
- The place of work is Cernavoda.
- The contract period is one year from the time of hiring, and can be extended by one year and salary increased through performance evaluation.
- Trial period (up to three months, renewal to be considered by good performance), Monthly salary(around 11,600 RON), overtime pay(or granting alternative time off), etc.
- Own holiday policy is exist based on both local and Korean official holidays.
- Anything else not mentioned is subject to Romanian law
